Standard Solid Rubber Hatch Packing

Homogenous rubber hatch packings are constructed from special media, salt and weather resisting compounds.

Special ordered compounds have no dimensional limitations.  The following material is suggested as primary compounds for Styles 8010, 8011.
 
Neoprene
Temperature -20°F/-29° to 170°F/77°C
Good resistance to salt water, weather, ultra-violet, ozone, moderate oil resistance.
Style 7105, 50A±5 durometer, immediately available with a maximum sing dimension of 2"

Ethylene Propylene
Temperature -40°F/-40° to 300°F/149°C
Excellent resistance to salt water, weather, ultra-violet, ozone, oils and solvents, ester based fluid, alcohol. Special order

 Buna-N
Temperature -20°F/-29° to 170°F/77°C
Very good resistance to petroleum based lubricants, gasoline, fuel oils, alcohol. Special order.

Shape and Size
For Style 8010 specify overall dimensions and chamfer locations and dimensions.  For Style 8011 specify dimensions without chamfers.

Corners/Angles
Molded or vulcanized corners are available.
