The function of Injectaseal is to inject sealant into pumps under pressure so the product fuses together.  By fusing together the Injectaseal, a solid mass is formed.  This pressure is evenly disbursed throughout the stuffing box.  The result is a mass that conforms to all irregular surfaces, such as,  worn shafts.  The Injectaseal mass has created a combination pressure/lubricating block structure so the pumps can now run dripless.

The Injectaseal and the Injectaseal Gun was developed as a fully integrated working sealing system.  Only the Injectaseal Gun should be used to install Injectaseal; in order that the installation pressure steps required can be followed.  This ensures proper installation and maximum applications service life.

If the pump should start to leak after Injectaseal has been in service, the pump will drip or leak like mechanical packing, not blow out like shredded packing.  The packing gland can be resealed with the injector gun to stop the excess drippage.  Or, the packing gland follower can be tightened to stop the drippage, then the injector gun can be used to reseal the gland.
